He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Frieda Louise Clem Sowers; his brother Benjamin Lee Sowers; and his sibling's children, Elizabeth A. Caton and Craig A Stokes.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Taylor (CD) of Romney, WV, Barbara Smith of Billings and Kathy Leake of Capon Bridge, WV; his sister-in-law Linda Sowers; and his close friend Sharon Huff. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory (2807 Northwestern Turnpike, Capon Bridge, WV 26711). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
