She was predeceased by : her mother Ivory Brown (Bullock); her spouses, Minister and Paul Hines, Sr.; her son Paul "Buddy" Hines, Jr.; her siblings, Ivory Young (Lester), Theodore "Uncle Robbie" Robinson (Gloria), John Robinson (Shirley) and Alvin Robinson (Hasty); her parents-in-law, Howard Hines, Sr. (Mae), Willie Hines (Jean), Charles Hines (Helen), Phillip Hines, Louise Rembert (Earl), Lizella Lewis (J. C.) and Frank Hines (Mary); and her close friend Irene Goines.
She is survived by : her sister Bernice "Aunt Bern" Robinson; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Hines of Akron, Juanita Arnold of Fairmont, Wilma Reeves of Greenville and Chester Hines (Janet) of Charlotte; her mother Virginia Cooper (Albert); her close friend Betty Harris of Fort Myers, FL; her children, Tonya A. Buggs (Daniel), Eric Hines (Stephanie), Joe E. Hines, Sr., Kevin D. Hines (Lisa) and Darian L. Hines; her nephew Jack L. Brown; and her goddaughter Renee Goines. She is also survived by grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
