She was predeceased by: her husband Armour A. Wheaton Jr.; her parents, William Edward McFarland and Genevieve Maston McFarland; and her brothers, James "Jim" McFarland, Robert "Bob" McFarland and Ronald "Ronnie" McFarland.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Wheaton and Karen Foster (Jim); and her grandchildren, Mason Wheaton, Kaitlin Roberts (Zach) and Gregory Sams Jr..

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (1934 Dupont Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
