She was predeceased by: her parents, David Clifford Daugherty and Leota Dilly Daugherty Maxwell; her sister Joyce Marie Scott; her brother-in-law James Burton Scott; her sister Patricia Jo; her brother-in-law Tom Wolford; and her nephews, Benton James Scott, William G. Scott and John Daniel Wolford.
She is survived by: her husband Howard "Bo" McDaniel; her daughters, Christine Rebold (August) of Grafton, WV, Julie Ford (James) of Morgantown, WV and Cheryl Leary (Neal) of Metz, WV; her grandchildren, Danielle Joyce Ford (Kyle May) of Morgantown, WV, Patricia Lorraine Collins (Kris) of Lake Park, GA, Tierney Erin Leary (Zack Browning) of Fairmont, WV, Dylan Leary (Hannah Layman) of Masontown, WV and Bo M. Odette of Morgantown, WV.; her great grandchildren, Kaden J. Collins, Rainee E. Collins, Maxson T. Layman and Emerson B. Layman; her brothers-in-law, James E. McDaniel (Judy) of Memphis, TN and John F. McDaniel (Jean) of Morgantown, WV; her nephew Stevie Scott (Julie Ashby) of Berryville; and her niece Cynthia Scott of Warren, Ohio..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home West Union (212 Front St, West Union, WV 26456). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
