She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Baker and Thyrsa Shuff Baker; her husband Jake Adkins; her son Jimmy David Adkins; and her brothers, Garnet and Hollis Baker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Bailey (Bill) of Ceredo, WV and Dena Smith (Al) of Pleasant Garden, NC; her grandchildren, Bill Bailey, Geri Beth Bailey, Albert Smith and Ryan Smith; and her siblings, Palmaneda Smith of St. Petersburg, FL, Cebern Baker of Branchland, WV and Challis Baker of East Lynn, WV. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington in memory of Hollena.
