He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchell and Sara Tomblin Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Susan Mitchell; his children, Obie J (Anissa Mitchell) and Kimberly (Mike Burton); his grandchildren, Michael, Suzy Burton, Dustin, Brittany Burton, Morgan and Justin Smith; his great grandchildren, Savannah Burton, Abby Burton (Levi), Brylee, Kasen Burton, Emma and Lincoln Smith; his great great grandchild Elaina Burton; Megan Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel (1135 C St, Ceredo, WV 45680). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
