With sadness, we share the passing of Dave Hensley of Chapmanville, West Virginia. Dave, born on May 11, 1959, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Hensley and Bessie Hensley; his siblings, Helen Hensley, Brady Hensley and Harrison Hensley; and his former wife Marrietta Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hensley; his children, Dewanne Bryant (Glen) and Roscoe Hensley (Roseanna); his siblings, Manual Hensley, Clifford Hensley, Leroy Hensley Sr., Lewis Hensley Jr., Earnest Hensley, Lucy Bryant and Grace Bryant; his grandchildren, David Allen Bryant and Easter Marie Bryant; his niece Rosie Maynor; and his close friends, Dottie Brewster and Larry Hensley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
