He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sansom and Alma Miller Sansom; his wife Gloria Jean Sansom; his brothers, Johnny and Charles Sansom; and his granddaughter Chloe Bowen.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Sansom, Darlena Sansom Bowen (Bobby) and Diana Sansom Jurdivac (Robert); and his siblings, Willard Sansom, Nillie Pritchard, Lenora Johnson and Hattie Turner. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, Inc. (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508).
