He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Adkins and Beulah Adkins; his sons, Ronald Adkins and James Adkins; his siblings, Billy Ray Adkins (Barbara), Clifford Adkins (Rosetta), Nathan Adkins, Charlene Bryant (Ronnie) and Wanda Adkins; and his parents-in-law, Clinton and Hester Boehm.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Rosetta Adkins; his daughters, Rebecca Adkins and Glenna Beth Adams (Wendell); his siblings, Marcella Adkins and Arden Adkins; his grandchildren, Katlyn Mullins, Gracie Mullins, Cody Adkins, Tyler Adkins and Emma Adkins; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Adkins, Amara Adkins, Oakey Adkins, Hayden Adkins and Gracelyn Adkins.
