He is survived by: his wife Mary Elkins of Chapmanville; his children, Alyssa White of Randleman, NC, Maria Deraimo (David) of Charleston, WV and Bennie James May of Chapmanville; his brothers, Chris Elkins of Chapmanville, Doug Elkins (Becky) of Grundy and Joe Elkins (Rose) of Chapmanville; his grandchildren, Haley Cook (Weslee) of Lincolnton, NC, Tristian White (Cheyenne) of Cherryville, NC, Dallas Howell of Randleman, NC, Megan Dingess (Austin) of Charleston and Andrea Graley (Emma) of Julian; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Brenleigh, Carsyn, Maddox, Rosie and Rhett; his friend James Steffie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abby, Gabby Morrison, Zoie Runyon, Jobe Morrison and Aaron Runyon.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with arrangements.
