He was predeceased by: his parents, Willa June May (Stiltner) and Sam June; his grandparents, William "Bud", Martha Stiltner (Blair), Whitt and Lenore May; his siblings, William May and Candus "Candy" May-Bumgarner; and his in-laws, Steve and Hazel Evans (Birtcher).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra May (Evans); his children, Steven May (Emily Midkiff) and Shanda Spears (May); his grandchildren, Juliya "Emmie" Spears and Tucker David May; his siblings, Mary Stewart (Bobby), Rocky May (Carla) and Tammy Watkins (Zane); his siblings-in-law, Roger Evans (Linda) and Stephanie Fields (Evans); his niece Meagan Fields; and his close friends, Danny "Skippy" Bailey, Rodney Adkins (Melody) and Reed Donahoe. He is also survived by other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, Inc. (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
