Sheppard IV; her great grandchild Trae Cline; her nephews, Loren Collins, James Collins and John Collins; her niece Tammy Akers; her close friend Eleanor Collins; her friend Mary Williams; her children, John "Johnny" Sheppard III (Brenda) of Holden, Robert "Bobby" Sheppard (Teresa) of Chapmanville, Matthew Sheppard (Christina) of Chapmanville, Terena Surgoine (Dennie) of Chapmanville, Ermal Sheppard (Brandy) of Birch River and Michelle Vititoe (Jared) of Hurricane; her grandchildren, Rachel Sheppard, Chad Surgoine, Chad Randal Davis, Lauren Maynard (Wes), Brad Surgoine, Stacey Copley (Levi), Whitney Cline (Craig), Samantha Easterling (Ross) and Sawyer Vititoe; her great grandchildren, Nicole Compton (Jake), Emily Davis (Megan), Eli Surgoine, Dakota "Cody" Davis, Haylee, L. J. Copley, Addison, Isiah Cline, Liam Perry and Brooklynn Easterling; her great great grandchild Mack Compton; and her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Collins, Faye Collins, Joann Collins and Mae Collins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, Inc. (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508). A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the Vance Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holden Freewill Baptist Church (389 Copperas Fork Rd, Holden, WV 25625).
