He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Grubbs and Patricia Bigoness Grubbs (Long); his sister Katherine Jordan; and his stepbrother Gary Alley. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Grubbs; his stepmother Sharon Grubbs; his children, Christopher Grubbs (Brittany), Catelynn Oden (Timothy) and Chelsea Grubbs (William); his grandchildren, Chase, Ryleigh, Gracie, Paisley, Nolan, Noah and Avery; his sister Cynthia Grubbs-Greer; and his stepsister Dee Pugh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
