With sadness, we share the passing of David Lee Gapen of Charles Town, West Virginia. David, born on April 17, 1944, passed away on August 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Gapen and Marie Gapen; and his sister Carol Mobley. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his daughters, Kristy L. Gapen and Hoke (Henry); his stepson Robert Poland (Marisa); and his granddaughter Lauren M. Hoke. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
