She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Scherrer and Anna Winkler; her husband Tommie Howard Ward; and her son-in-law Bruce T. Brown. She is survived by : her close friend Clark Hicks of Charles Town, WV; her daughters, Ellen Ann Buono (Vincent) of Gore, VA and Susanne W. Brown of Charles Town, WV; and her granddaughters, Christina M. Borde' and Angela S. Brown.
