Hosby Sr. of Charles Town, West Virginia, born in Hume, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 96, on July 15, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hosby and Emma Hosby (Brooks); his wife Elsie M. Hosby (Thomas); and his siblings, Anna Henson, Mary Hosby, Pauline Wainwright, Viola Brodnax, James Hosby and George Hosby.
He is survived by: his children, John E. Hosby, Jr. (Nichelle) of Martinsburg, Frank Hosby (Kristine) of Martinsburg, Raymond Hosby (Robin) of Shepherdstown, Curtis Hosby of Martinsburg, Chris Hosby (Misty) of Charles Town and Gertrude "GiGi" Hosby Hill (Mike) of Charles Town; his brothers, Robert Hosby (Lee) of Martinsburg and Morris Hosby (Beverley) of Martinsburg; and his brother-in-law Robert Thomas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
