It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lara Engebretson of Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tryggvi Salomonsson and Bjarney Hólm Sigurgarðsdóttir; her siblings, Sigrún Rockmaker and Magnus Tryggvason; and her half-sister Ásdís Sigurðardóttir.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Duane Engebretson; her daughter Silja Gomez (Richard Benson) of Purcellville, Virginia; and her brother Hrafnkell Tryggvason of Iceland. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
