With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyn Bishop of Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lyn find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezachaeus Lester DeBow and Betty Jane Herberson DeBow; and her brother John Richard DeBow, Sr.. She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Jane Sirk, Joyce Stanley, Leslie Keller, Carol DeBow, Deborah Demmons and Barbara Huff.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clarke County Animal Shelter, 225 Ramsburg Lane, Berryville VA 22611.
