She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Earl Smith and Bertha A. Frye Smith; her husband Frederick Gordon Weiant; and her siblings, Henry "Sonny" Earl Smith, Jr. and Alice V. Pifer.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael, Forest (Jodie), Frederick (Cathy) and David Weiant (Jamie); her grandchildren, Kelsea Weiant, Annaliese Weiant and Joshua Nelson; and her brother Robert "Bob" Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, Tunnel to Towers, or St. Jude's.
