It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Floyd Carson of Charles Town, West Virginia, born in Hedgesville, West Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Carson and Verda V. Carson (Avey); and his brothers, Wilmot "Tom" O. Carson, Albert "Peanut" Paul Carson, Richard "Dick" Carson, Jack Carson and James Carson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joy Grey (Jason) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Robin White (Joe) of Woodbridge, VA; his grandchildren, Brandon Rickard (Vanessa), Amber Nesselrodt (Josh) and Blake Grey; his great grandchildren, Leah, Emma, Lane Nesselrodt, Delaney and Lila Rickard; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aaron and Reagan Bolen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
