He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Sherman and Mary Parsons Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his sons, Travis Clay Sherman (Thersa) of Purcellville, VA and Andrew Lee Sherman (Karen) of Bunker Hill, WV; his grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob; and his brothers, William "Billy", Edward "Eddie" and Gary Sherman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
