She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer "Guy" Miles and Blanche Jenny Miles of Charleston; and her husband Dr. David L. Edens. She is survived by: her daughter Debra McClanahan; her grandchildren, David Shields and Kelli McClanahan; her great grandchild Liam Shields; her brother Robert L. Miles of Charleston; her sibling's children, Polly Osborne (Tom) of New Jersey and Bob Miles of Charleston; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Melanie, Ashley, Patrick and Ben.
