He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Kessinger (Michael), Rick Cheek and Jessica Muse; his grandchildren, Kayla Kessinger, Kelli Kessinger, JonPaul Kessinger, Jacob Kessinger, Jason Kessinger, Kyra Kessinger, Ryan Muse, Zach Muse and Ayden Muse; his great grandchildren, Anderson Policap-Kessinger, Macie Kessinger, Katie Policap-Kessinger, Joanna Pollicap-Kessinger, Warren Kessinger and Kayce Kessinger; and his siblings, Rocky Hall, Irene Butcher, Frieda Draught and Brenda Mullins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel (701 Co Rte 21/12, Mt Hope, WV 25880). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Pax Community Cemetery.
