Carter Venable Blundon Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 31, 2026, Carter Venable Blundon of Charleston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Colonel Benjamin Wilson and Augusta Venable (Turner); her husband DeWitt Quarrier Blundon; her son-in-law Francis John Kosowicz; her children, Augusta Blundon Kosowicz, Helen Blundon Cheromcka (Tim) and DeWitt Venable Blundon (Tammie); her granddaughter Ainsley Grace Blundon; and her pet Alice. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Closest to her heart was Manna Meal, where she volunteered since it began in 1976, only stopping due to the Covid pandemic.
