He is survived by : his wife Judy Chapman Pence; his daughters, Jennifer Fisher (Delbert), Shannon Pauley and Brooke Pauley Lord; his grandchildren, Hazel "Christa" Fisher, Greyson Lord, Prescott Lord and Chapman Lord; and his siblings, Ramona Rogers (Carl), Marvin Pence (Sue) and Wayne Pence (Karen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to HospiceCare 1606 Kanawha Blvd W. Charleston, WV 25387.
