He is survived by: his wife Donna Caplinger Tate; his sister Sharon Keller; his sons, Ray Allen Tate (Julie) and Steve Tate (Katie); his grandchildren, Erik Tate (Breaha), Summer Tate (Joel Hanson), Jillian Tate, Jesse Tate (Courtney), Kaylee Tate-Smith (Jagur) and Joseph Tate; and his great grandchild Amelia Tate.
