He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Proctor and Emma Marilee Gay Proctor. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Sue Lucas Proctor of Rand du; and his nieces and nephews, Tracy Asbury (Mike), Kristi Swisher (Billy), Rick Proctor (Jessica), Christa Lucas and Kenny Lucas (Becky).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stevens & Grass Funeral Home (4203 Salines Dr, Malden, WV 25306). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
To show your love for Danny, the family suggests donations be made in Danny's name to Kanawha Hospice Care at Make a Donation - HospiceCare, Kanawha Charleston Humane Society, or because Danny was a frequent donor of blood, the family would encourage friends to donate blood in Danny's memory.
