She is survived by: her husband Matthew Gose of Elkview, WV; her mother Patricia Duncan of South Shore, KY; her sister Lisa Thompson; her brother-in-law Greg Thompson of Lloyd, KY; her sister Leigh Ann Maynard; her siblings-in-law, TJ Maynard of Flatwoods, KY, David Gose of Elysburg, PA, Jonathan Gose and Crystal Gose of Albany, OH; her nieces and nephews, Kristen Hurn, Alexis Conley, Alyssa Maynard, Justin Hurn, Dee Gose, Nathan Gose, Joshua Gose, Zachary Gose, Jacob Gose, Elijah Gose and Ethan Gose; and her great-nephews, Cayson Hurn and Baker Conley. She is also survived by her mother's grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Elk River Church of the Nazarene (143 Dutch Rd, Charleston, WV 25302). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family knows that Deana would unquestionably ask that donations be made to our local animal shelter, Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association (https://adoptcharleston.com) or the other animal charities in Barboursville or Ashland.
