She is survived by: her husband Lewis "Mike" Fitzwater III of Charleston; her children, William "BJ" Fitzwater of Charleston, WV, Nicholas Fitzwater (Madeline) of Charleston, WV and Sara Fitzwater Miller (Joshua) of Barboursville, WV; her grandchildren, Elliot and Ari Miller of Barboursville; and her brother Larry C. Hughes of Akaska, SD.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
