He is survived by: his wife Gina Fisher Cowley; his daughter Lauren Jewell (Garry); his grandchildren, Connor and Grayson Jewell; and his siblings, Paulette Thomas and Todd Cowley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
