She was predeceased by: her parents, Sol Shartsis and Celia Shartsis; and her sister Phyllis Ross. She is survived by: her husband Steve Max; her son Michael (Stacey); her granddaughters, Emily and Rachel of Buffalo Grove, IL; her son Scott (Domicka); her grandchildren, Kayla and Ethan of St. Albans, WV; and her sister Diane Wax (Barry) of Sandia Park, NM..
