She was predeceased by: her parents, Leftwich Moss and Ernie Moss; her husband Charles Burdette; and her children, Ronald Burdette, Sharon Smith and Sheila Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Burdette (Patty) of Sissonville, Michael Burdette (Charlotte) of Sissonville, Bonita Melton (Ronnie) of Elkview and Irene Shamblin of Kenna. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home (1325 W Washington St, Charleston, WV 25302). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
