Florence Canterbury Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Canterbury in Charleston, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Canterbury and Florence Anna Canterbury (Haught); her siblings, Helen Westneat, Billy Canterbury and Tommy Canterbury; and her granddaughter Cyan Maroney.
She is survived by: her children, Kellie Beeson (late David Beeson), Patrick Maroney (Donna), Michael Maroney (Dinga Wooling), Kathryn Morris (John), Eileen Maroney, Tom Maroney (Scott Kaller) and Annie McMillion (Gary); and her sister-in-law Janet Canterbury. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests enjoying a glass of fresh, extra tart lemonade (the way Anne liked it) and planting a garden of everything you love. Donations in her name may be made to The Greenbrier River Watershed Association at wordpress.greenbrier.org/join-us/donate .
