Glenna Light Skiles Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenna Light Skiles of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Glenna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Glenna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Light and Velva Hughey Light. She is survived by: her husband Herbert "Herb" Skiles; her daughters, Debbie Stump, Diana Easter (Terry) and Lori Lanier (John); and her brothers, Dennis, Keith and Gary Light. She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
