Though Herbert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Herbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Rodney Tunnell Jr. and Annette Hewes Tunnell; his wife Susan Ellen (Turnblacer); his children, Ruth Ellen Tunnell of Charleston, WV and Christopher Rodney Tunnell (Sandra) of Ashland, OH; his granddaughter Madeline Tunnell; and his sisters, Anne Felker and Sarah Tunnell of Tucson, AZ..
