He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Otho and Ada Ellen Randolph Parsons; his wife Sharon Lee Garrett; and his brothers, Gairy and James.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Lee (Joe Imhof) of Rockville, Maryland; and his sister Carolyn Sue Balis (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
