We announce the death of Jack L. Shamblin of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 90. Jack will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin A. Shamblin and Mary C. Smith Shamblin; his son Ervin L. Shamblin; and his siblings, Harold Shamblin, Faye Shamblin, June Mullins, Mary Tincher, Norma Clatworthy and Ruth Bailes.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Dean Shamblin; his daughter Christina Fuller (Leslie) of Brownsville, PA; his grandchildren, Amanda Fuller, Leslie Fuller II, Cheyenne Shamblin and Joshua Steffie; his great grandchildren, Marcus and Amos Fuller; and his nephew Jim Mullins of Charleston.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel (201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
