She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Belle and Zachary Hancock; her husband Edward Franklin Scarbro; and her siblings, Violet Gay Delung, Shirley Scarbro, Sara Kirk, Sandra Bowyer, Damon "Mutt" Jones and William Bowyer.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Kaye Cordle (Kevin) of Oak Hill, Geneva Lynn Kious (Frank) of Hilltop, Tracie Scarbro of Cirtsville, Leslie Billups (Mark) of Maple Fork, Edward Scarbro (Carol) of Beckley and Jerry Wayne Scarbro (Devonna) of Beckley; her brother Zack Hancock, Jr. of Roanoke, Virginia.; her close friend Maggie Rounds of Hessel, Michigan.; Rosie, Patty Colaiseno and Dr. Alexander Navone. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren: thirty-one great-grandchildren: and two great-great-grandchildren.
