He was predeceased by: his daughter Christina Marie Rider; his parents, Silas Rider and Irene Schoolcraft Rider; and his brother Cedric Rider. He is survived by: his wife Sheri Leigh Barker Rider of Charleston; his son Nicholas Rider (Joanna) of Charleston; his sisters, Ruby Sloan of Cedar Grove and Icie Hager of Mammoth; and his grandson Jaylen Rider of Charleston.
