He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Estell Smith; and his little buddy Jackie. He is survived by: his significant other Tamee L Robinson-Smith; his children, Dennis C Smith, James A Blankenship, Jessica D Wallace and Jami L Peters; his father Frank Riddle; his sister Peggy Hoy (Ron); his father-in-law James "Rick" Robinson; and his siblings-in-law, Robin Holstiene (Wayne) and Kevin Slack (Karla). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Shrewsbury Baptist Church (1096 Ferry St, Shrewsbury, WV 25015).
