He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebert Ballard and Edrie Ballard; his former wife Marilyn McKeny Ballard; his daughter Amy Jo Ballard; his brother Larry Ballard; and his niece Susan Ballard-Shreve.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Carper Ballard; his daughters, Jennifer Ballard, Jacqueline Garrett and Kelli Wetzel (Michael); his siblings, Terry Ballard (Janet) and Jenny Ballard; his grandchildren, Kiela Lester (Jeff), Jordan Garrett (Taylor), Morgan Garrett-Horn (Jon), Eden Cantu (Rudy), Liam Wetzel and Olivia Wetzel; his great grandchildren, Leo Lester, Noah Lester, Boone Garrett, Emersyn Horn, Miles Horn, Avery Horn, Gabe Cantu and Emma Cantu; and his uncle Don Elkins (Elnora). He is also survived by extended family, friends.
