He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess W. Adkins and Rosa March Adkins; his brother Jesse E. Adkins; and his daughter Jeannie Bostic. He is survived by: his wife Viginia "Jenny" Nunn Adkins; his son John W. Adkins; his grandchildren, Carleah Adkins, John and Christy Meadows; his brother Ralph; and his sister-in-law Carol Nunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hayzlett Cemetery.
