With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John David Young of Charleston, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Young and Grace Young; and his sister Nancy Metz (Donald). He is survived by: his sibling's children, Kara Manchin (Antonio), Tana Pendell (Jayson), Donald Metz (Lisa Brewer) and James Metz (Peggy); his pets, Georgia, Bubbles and Molly; Ailene Lee. He is also survived by friends, church members, neighbors.
