He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest C. Shank and Frances Henderson Shank; his wife Anna B. Shank; and his brother James Shank. He is survived by: his son John E. Shank of Charleston, WV; his grandson Ryan M. Shank (Melanie) of Clarksville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Scottie Jo and Atticus Theodore Shank.
