It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Wayne Holmes of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lennis Holmes (Buddy); his grandparents, Rev. Albert, Estella Holmes, Everett and Freda Skeens; his cousin Joshua Mobley; and his aunt Aretta Kiser.
He is survived by: his mother Judy Holmes (Russell); his children, Justin Holmes (Leona) of Charleston, WV and Kevonna (Aaron) of Concord, NC; his siblings, Kelly Catlett of Dunbar, WV and Jason Russell of Winfield, WV.; his aunts and uncles, Joy Childers (Buddy) of Dunbar, WV, James Skeens (Mary) of Charleston, WV, Jack Skeens (JoAnn) of Scott Depot, WV., Kenneth Holmes, Ronald Holmes and Elizabeth Bostic; and his grandchildren, Tucker, Kameron and Aria.
