He is survived by: his children, Leonard Lee Steele Jr. of Charleston, Jacob Scott Steele, Faith Leann Steele of Charleston and Sara Jean Steele; his mother Shelby Jean Cook of Charleston; his brothers, Christopher Douglas Cook (Jessica) of Kenna, Boyd Eugene Steele Jr. of Kenna and Charles Wayne Steele of Racine; and his grandson Waylon Lee Steele.
