We announce the death of Lydia Ellen Reed of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 81. Lydia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sr. Campbell and Zella Campbell; her husband Larry Reed; her son James Milam; and her siblings, Lois Veres, Sandra Paxton, Carl Campbell and Wayne Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Milam (Doreen) and Carla O'Conner (Harry); her grandchildren, Lynette Gresham, Savannah Compton (Jeffrey), Mackenzie Lambert, Dakota O'Conner and Cheyenne O'Conner; her great grandchildren, Sydney Milam, Chase, Christopher Gresham, Casey and Walker Compton; and her siblings, Wilma Jordan and William Campbell Jr. (Jeanenne).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home (1325 W Washington St, Charleston, WV 25302). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens (5233 Rocky Fork Rd, Cross Lanes, WV 25313).
