He is survived by: his brother Leon Halstead; his sister-in-law Rita Huggins-Halstead; his niece Sophia Halstead of Brambleton, Virginia; his cousins, Kim Hicks of Putnam County, Sandra Riddle of Putnam County, Patricia Drake of Putnam County, Deborah Hicks of Putnam County, Betty Shade of Hurricane, Kelli Johnson of Hurricane and Jeanette Waller of Hurricane; and his friend Martha Marlow of DuPont City.
