She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Chambers Veazey and Louis Alphonsus Veazey; her husband Rudolph Lidano DiTrapano; her sons, Lidano Albert DiTrapano and Giancarlo Veazey DiTrapano; and her siblings, Jane Lewis, Norma Sexton, Joanette Gould and Dr. Richard Veazey.
She is survived by: her children, Luisa DiTrapano (Cyrus) of Charleston, Dante and Lia DiTrapano Fairless (L. J.) of South Charleston; her grandchildren, Zachary, Niccia, Santino, Ben Fairless of Denver, Sofia and Francesca Fairless of Charleston; and her great grandchildren, Braelyn, Avari, Hadley, Natalia Valentine and Aubrey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Snodgrass Funeral Home (4122 MacCorkle Ave SW, Charleston, WV 25309).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Giancarlo DiTrapano Foundation for Literature and the Arts and Hospice Care.
