It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthews Cornell of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leonard, Wilma Hudson of Charleston, Ellis and Edna Cornell of Allentown, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his wife Tracey Shultz of South Charleston; his parents, JoAnn Cornell and Matthews Cornell; his siblings, Shawnda Yeager (Bob Yeager) and Patrick Cornell (Natalie Cornell); and his stepchildren, Joshua Hoffman and Darian Moore. He is also survived by many nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
